Dolovo is already on the tourist map, its manifestations are already a big thing and it was recognized in the Program for Support of the Social Initiatives, which can be seen as a part of this success. Good cooperation will continue also this year, considering that the Program enters 2016 with the same budget as it had last year. This was said to the residents of Dolovo when they were informed about procedures, conditions and other information important to organizations and associations which plan to participate with their projects and initiatives.

 The procedures for realization of the Program are already known. Propositions should be presented on the special form which should be submitted to the Local Community which will in turn forward them to commission whose task is to select the most successful propositions. The commission is composed of representatives of local communities and the WEBG; all members are independent in bringing decisions in accordance with well-known propositions of the program. However, the residents of Dolovo learned that the final instance is now the Masdar Company, which as the new owner decided to continue the practice of supporting local initiatives and is therefore entitled to have the last word in approving the commission’s decisions.

Now in the fourth year in row of its implementations, this Program will bring to Dolovo the amount of € 6,000, the same as it was last year. This amount is slightly higher in comparison with total sums earmarked for Mramorak or Bavaniste, but Dolovo and also Vladimirovac will be exposed relatively more to the impact of wind farm construction.

The present were interested to learn when they could expect the donation money and were informed that payments will start in the second week of April.

As regards desirable activities, as up to now the most successful models were mentioned some projects from previous years, from refurbishing the children’s playground to supporting the school publication. The Program for Support of the Social Initiatives has so far supported infrastructure, sport, cultural and education activities, actions intended to preserve tradition and other actions of general interest for citizens of the above mentioned four towns.

Presentations of the Program for Support of the Social Initiatives will continue this week as well. The WEBG representatives will hold meetings with the residents of Bavaniste on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at 15:00h. The meeting will be held at the House of Culture in Bavaniste.
