During the development of Cibuk wind park project many activities of the local communities are being supported. Among them are the traditional local festivals, competitions, sport activities and other manifestations like Vinarijada (Wine Festival), Strudlijada (Competition in pie making) and the Ivanji (St. John’s ) Flowers Festival at the place of Dolovo. Sport competitions like the Summer League in Small Football also enjoy our support.

Besides the above CWP also supports various initiatives at the level of Province and Republic alike, with the objective of promoting the European values and helping in harmonization of legislative provisions with EU, in securing better transparency , the sustainable development, cultural multiplicity, human rights, civil freedoms, struggle against all forms of discrimination and similar. CWP has been from 2000 a partner of the EXIT festival and co-founder of the EXIT foundation. CWP also supports the MIXER Festival, it is a member of the National Alliance for the Local Economic Development (NALED) and is a member of its Management Board and it is one of founders of the Serbian Wind Energy Alliance (SEWEA) etc.

At the beginning of 2014, the Cibuk wind park project will make a plan and determine the annual budget for programs of support intended for Mramorak, Dolovo and Vladimirovac that will be realized through their Local Communities. It is planned to support activities connected with smaller projects like improvement of infrastructure, upgrading education and sport programs, supporting vulnerable groups (elder population, persons with special needs, youth and children), activities to preserve environment, local traditions and customs, to promote the European values, the respect of law, transparency and struggle against discrimination.

Upon definition of the budget, local community will invite citizens, associations and organizations to submit their proposals for projects. Decisions about selected projects will be brought by local communities, which will organize public discussions about received proposals. Citizens, associations and organizations will be invited to participate in these public discussions, after which the representatives of local communities and the Kovin wind park will decide which projects will be funded. Local community will continue to monitor realization of these funded projects.
